Arising out of “Portrait of Herefordshire” was a series on Herefordshire’s Artists, Craftspeople and Musicians at work.   This was published as a book by Logaston Press, entitled

“Images of Creative Herefordshire: its artists, craftspeople and musicians at work”

Three years spent photographing Herefordshire towns, villages and landscapes, and its inhabitants at work and leisure, resulted in a book of 160 black & white photographs

“Portrait of Herefordshire”, published in 2007 by Halsgrove Press.

A One-Man exhibition of seventy eight pictures from this series was held at the Courtyard Theatre Gallery, Hereford, in 2011.

Examples from this series

In 2000 I photographed all the inhabitants of our village together with their houses, which was published as a limited edition booklet

 “A Village Portrait: Leigh, Worcestershire in 2000”.

A selection of these pictures was exhibited at the The Architecture Centre, Bristol, in 2000.

During a year spent living and working in Pakistan I travelled widely,  photographing people at work and leisure, together with its towns, villages and landscapes. These photographs were the subject of a One-Man show at the Photographers Gallery, London (“Pakistan: One Man’s View”), and were later shown at the Worcester Arts Workshop.
